Dr. Simone Nüssing is an Application Specialist for cell culturing devices at Eppendorf’s Headquarter in Hamburg, Germany. After studying Life and Medical Sciences at the University of Bonn, where she received her master’s degree, she continued to conduct a PhD at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Here she investigated the response of T cells to infectious diseases such as influenza and HIV. After obtaining her doctoral degree, Simone transferred her knowledge of T cell immunology to the field of cancer and started her position as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. With her several years of experience in Research and being in the wet lab herself, she gained a profound knowledge of culturing primary cells as well as cell lines before she joined Eppendorf in 2022.

Gabriela Saldanha, with 30 years in the genomics field, has successfully overseen more than 60 product launches. Her comprehensive experience spans from product development and launch to commercialization and marketing. Notably, Gabriela has emphasized the use of STR and has been an advocate for cell line authentication. Her areas of expertise encompass nucleic acid amplification, gene expression analysis, genotyping, and sequencing. Currently, she holds the position of Senior Product Marketing Manager in the Genomics Strategic Portfolio Management, continuing her dedication and contributions to the industry.
