Reliable DNA Extraction from FFPE Tissue Samples
The Maxwell® CSC DNA FFPE Kit is intended for use, in combination with the Maxwell® CSC Instrument and the Maxwell® CSC DNA FFPE purification method, as an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical device to perform automated isolation of DNA from FFPE (formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded) tissue samples. The purified DNA is suitable for use in amplification-based in vitro diagnostic assays.

Maxwell® CSC DNA FFPE Kit Offers Reliable DNA Extraction from FFPE Tissue Samples
Purification of amplifiable DNA from diverse tissue types using the Maxwell® CSC DNA FFPE kit. Single FFPE sections were processed in triplicate using the Maxwell® CSC DNA FFPE kit workflow on the Maxwell® CSC instrument. Eluates were assessed by qPCR using a short amplicon (RNase P H1 – 102bp) and with a longer amplicon (TERT – 164bp) to assess size distribution. All types of FFPE tissue samples processed in this experiment showed amplification of both targets.
