The Power of Differential Extraction
The Differex™ System offers recovery similar to that of the standard method commonly used for differential extraction. The Differex™ System works with challenging new and old samples typical of those from sexual assaults. The Differex™ System is used in combination with the DNA IQ™ System and Slicprep™ 96 Device on robotic platforms to process up to 48 differential extractions in less than 5 hours, including incubation time, and less than 1 hour of hands-on time. The Differex™ System is the first and only system that allows a forensic laboratory to automate every step of differential extraction. Direct compatibility with the DNA IQ™ System and downstream STR applications allows you to be confident in your ability to obtain results regardless of your choice of STR systems.

The automated Differex™ System provides an alternative to cumbersome manual methods by automating differential extraction. Robotic processing of mixture samples can reduce case backlogs without compromising quality. The automated Differex™ System combines Differex™ reagents with proven DNA IQ™ chemistry and specialized methods for complete and clean differential extraction.
The Power of Speed
It can take up to 5 days to process 40 differential extraction samples using the typical manual differential extraction method, and the final results may be variable, depending on the analyst's skill level. With the automated Differex™ method you can process up to 40 differential extraction samples, from incubation to final eluted DNA, in less than 5 hours. Hands-on time is less than 1 hour, reducing total processing time by up to 90%.
