Promega and Primerdesign have been working together for over a decade. Promega supplies Primerdesign with a broad range of custom genomics products utilised in their Real-Time PCR assays. Recently, the efforts to identify and treat COVID-19 have led to the development of many SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic kits, including Primerdesign’s genesig® Real-Time PCR Coronavirus COVID-19 (CE IVD) kit. Throughout these challenging times, when demand for raw components for molecular tests increased exponentially, Promega provided much greater volumes of product and support to the business, so that they could meet their expanded manufacturing schedules.
