qPCR Lumie Promotional Offer | Terms and Conditions

By participating in the ‘#qPCRLumie Giveaway’ and the related promotions, the visitor accepts the following terms and conditions of participation.

1. Purchase is necessary for the promotion running from Thursday, 1 October 2026 until Friday, 18 December 2026 (inclusive).
2. The '#qPCRLumie Giveaway' is open to all customers of Promega UK aged 18 or over who are based in the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland) or the Republic of Ireland.
3. To order the 'qPCR Lumie soft toy', participants must have purchased an eligible PCR or qPCR product, detailed at the bottom of this page during the promotional period and must complete and submit the order form, available on the Promega UK website www.promega.co.uk/c/pcr-campaign-lumie-request/, using a valid business or organisation email address. Proof of purchase will be required.
4. There is a maximum of one qPCR Lumie soft toy per qualifying purchase.
5. Employees of Promega UK, as well as members of their families, are excluded from entering.
6. Promega UK reserves the right to exclude persons or organisations from participating in the '#qPCRLumie Promotional Offer'.
7. Soft toys will be delivered to a business address in the United Kingdom or Ireland agreed with the participant and Promega UK Limited. It is the participant's responsibility to provide the correct address.
8. It is the participant's responsibility to provide a valid business/organisation email address.
9. Payment of the prize value in cash, exchange or transfer of rights to the product to third parties is excluded. There is no cash alternative to the soft toy.
10. Every effort will be taken to deliver the soft toys as shown however, Promega UK reserves the right to substitute with items of equivalent value and quality should the original product become unavailable.
11. Orders must be placed within seven days of the qualifying PCR or qPCR product purchase.
12. The qPCR Lumie soft toy is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, unless other information is provided. Promega UK cannot be held responsible for any defect in the soft toy.
13. By taking part in this promotion, the participant agrees that Promega UK will save the necessary data for this purpose for the duration of the competition and beyond. Participants have the right to revoke their consent at any time (preferences for data retention can be updated in the UK Preference Centre), thus cancelling their participation. Promega UK Limited will not disclose any personal data of the participant to third parties, other than that which is necessary, such as for the delivery of prizes.
14. Promega UK reserves the right to disqualify any participant reasonably believed to have breached, undermined or subverted in any way the legitimate operation of this promotion, whether by deceptive or willful activity or otherwise.
15. It is the responsibility of the person placing the order to ensure that participating in this promotion does not conflict with internal rules and regulations within their organisation. In particular, and without limiting the foregoing, the entrant warrants that their employers have full knowledge of their actions and have consented thereto. Promega UK cannot be held responsible for any dispute within an organisation with regards to which individual should be allocated the soft toy, nor can Promega UK be held responsible for any defect in the soft toy.
16. By participating in this promotion, the contestant agrees to waive all rights to claim against Promega UK and its respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents in respect of any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion (including but not limited to the receipt, use, or misuse of the soft toy or any component thereof but excluding any death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Promega UK).
17. Promega UK's decisions regarding the promotion and allocation of products are considered final. If the item(s) are returned as undeliverable, the soft toys are forfeited. Promega UK will not replace any lost or stolen item(s) and they shall be accepted on an 'as is' basis and for which Promega UK makes no warranties or representations nor accepts any responsibilities.
18. If, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, force majeure, or any other cause beyond the control of Promega UK which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Promega UK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
19. Promega UK reserves the right to change the rules of the promotion, conditions of participation and product availability at any time and without giving reasons.
20. The laws of England and Wales will apply to this promotion and the relevant courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to the promotion.
