How to Take Part
- Submit a Referral – The referrer must complete the online Refer-a-Friend Form, providing the details of the referred individual between 19 May 2025 and 30 September 2025. This form can be accessed here: https://www.promega.co.uk/c/forms/refer-a-friend-programme
- The Referred Individual Requests a Quote – The referred party must submit the Refer a Friend Nominee Form and proceed with the purchase of a GloMax® System. This form can be accessed here: https://www.promega.co.uk/c/forms/refer-a-friend-nominee-form
- Receive Your Reward – After the end of the promotion period on 30 September 2025, the winner will be announced, and the winning referrer will receive their prize. All referred individuals who go on to purchase a GloMax® System will receive a one-year free service agreement.
By participating in the Promega UK ‘Refer-a-Friend’ activity and related promotions, the participant accepts the following terms and conditions of participation.
- Individuals aged 18 or over who are based in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland may enter this promotion. Promega UK is a legal entity of Promega UK Ltd, and employees of Promega UK Ltd, as well as members of their families, are excluded from participation. Promega UK reserves the right to exclude persons or organisations from participating in the activity.
- Referrals can be submitted by completing the ‘Refer-a-Friend Form’ from 19 May 2025. Referrers will have until 30 September 2025 to submit their referral and be eligible for entry into the prize draw.
- Participants may submit multiple referrals, provided each referral is for a different individual. Each eligible referral will count as one entry into the prize draw. Duplicate referrals of the same individual will be counted only once.
- If the same contact is referred by more than one individual, the first referrer will be recorded against the RFQ. However, all validated referrers will be entered into the prize draw.
- All entries will be validated against Promega UK CRM records to confirm that the referrer is a previous purchaser of a GloMax® instrument. Only eligible and fully completed referrals will be entered into the draw.
- Participation is free of charge. No purchase by the referrer is necessary to enter the draw, and submitting a referral form does not oblige the referred party to make a purchase.
- The prize draw will be conducted after the entry period closes, on 30 September 2025. One winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries.
- The winner will be notified by email and will win one pair of Ray-Ban Meta Glasses
- If the winner does not respond within 14 days of receiving notification, Promega UK reserves the right to re-draw a winner.
- There is no cash alternative. The prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
- The selected item will be purchased and delivered after winner confirmation. Delivery is available only to addresses within the UK or Ireland.
- Promega UK will make every effort to provide the prize as described but reserves the right to substitute with an item of equivalent value and quality should the original item become unavailable.
- Any product warranty will be as provided by the manufacturer. Promega UK does not extend or modify warranty terms.
- Should the prize contain food or wearable technology, it is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure compatibility with any allergies or personal circumstances.
- The referred party’s free one-year Standard Service Agreement will be applied automatically to their GloMax® system, covering the second year of ownership, as a one-year standard manufacturer’s warranty is already included with a GloMax® purchase. Standard Service Agreement refers to product codes SA4000, SA1107 or SA1301 depending on the model of instrument purchased. GloMax® Service Agreements cover all parts, labour and shipping to and from our repair centre. If your instrument needs repair, we provide a box to ship the instrument back to our repair centre. We will repair and return the instrument performing at original factory specifications. These rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- By participating in the campaign, the participant agrees that Promega UK may store the necessary data for administering the prize draw. This data will not be shared with third parties. Participants may revoke their consent at any time, which will cancel their participation.
- It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that entry into this promotion does not conflict with any internal organisational policies. Promega UK is not liable for any internal disputes or conflicts regarding prize eligibility or distribution.
- Promega UK reserves the right to disqualify any participant reasonably believed to have acted fraudulently or to have undermined the legitimate operation of the promotion.
- Promega UK reserves the right to amend or terminate the promotion at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to technical failures, fraud, or force majeure.
- The laws of England and Wales will govern this promotion. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Promega UK’s decision regarding all aspects of this promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Additional Conditions - Each referrer will have one entry into the prize draw per referred purchase. The referred purchase must be for a new GloMax® order, and referrals cannot be applied retroactively to past purchases. If the referred individual cancels their order or does not complete the purchase, they will not be eligible for the incentive.
Liability & Compliance - It is the responsibility of both the referrer and the referred individual to ensure that participation in this promotion does not conflict with their employer’s internal policies. By taking part, both parties confirm that their employer is aware of and consents to their participation.
- Promega UK cannot be held responsible for internal disputes regarding the allocation of rewards within an organisation, nor for any lost, stolen, or misused rewards once issued. The company’s decisions regarding eligibility and reward distribution are final.
- By participating, both parties waive any claims against Promega UK and its affiliates in relation to the promotion, except in cases of negligence resulting in personal injury or death.
Changes to the Promotion - If unforeseen circumstances such as technical failures, fraud, or force majeure events arise, Promega UK reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or cancel the promotion at its sole discretion.
- This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
