Promega UK Golden Ticket Promotion | Terms and Conditions 2025

By participating in the Promega UK Golden Ticket promotion and the related promotions, the customer accepts the following terms and conditions of participation.

Customers placing an order for less than £1500 (exclusive of delivery and VAT, at the purchaser’s current price agreed with Promega UK, which may not be Promega UK's current list price) between 17 November 2025 and 5 December 2025 (inclusive), are eligible to win a prize by finding a ‘Golden Ticket’ in their order. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Promega UK that they have found a ‘Golden Ticket’ within one calendar week of the order being shipped from Promega UK. The customer needs to email ukmarketing@promega.com within the time frame, with photographic proof of having found the Golden Ticket. When submitting their claim, the customer must also provide the Sales Order Number or Purchase Order Number for their qualifying purchase as proof of purchase.

The prize will be a Hotel Chocolat Chocolate Wreath Box, which will be delivered by Promega UK once the Golden Ticket has been claimed by the holder within one calendar week of the order being shipped from Promega UK.

Promega UK reserves the right to substitute with items of equivalent value and quality should the original item become unavailable.

There is a maximum of one Golden Ticket per order. To claim the finder of the ‘Golden Ticket’ will need to supply a business email address to ukmarketing@promega.com within the timeframe stipulated in these Terms and Conditions (one calendar week from shipping from Promega UK).

Promega UK reserves the right to disqualify any purchaser reasonably believed to have breached, undermined or subverted in any way the legitimate operation of this promotion, whether by deceptive or wilful activity or otherwise.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that entering this promotion does not conflict with their organisation’s internal rules or regulations. In particular, and without limiting the foregoing, the purchaser warrants that their employers have full knowledge of their actions and have consented thereto. Promega UK cannot be held responsible for any dispute within an organisation with regards to which individual should be allocated the item, nor can Promega UK be held responsible for any defect in any item.

Promega UK’s decisions regarding the promotion and allocating who receives the items are considered final. If the items are returned as undeliverable, they are forfeited. Promega UK will not replace any lost or stolen items and items shall be accepted on an 'as is' basis and for which Promega UK makes no warranties or representations nor accepts any responsibilities.

By participating in this promotion, the purchaser agrees to waive all rights to claim against Promega UK and its respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents in respect of any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the promotion (including but not limited to the receipt, use, or misuse of any item or any component thereof but excluding any death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Promega UK).

Should any items of the promotion run by Promega UK contain allergens, it is up to the recipient to take responsibility for them.

The Promega UK Golden Ticket promotion is open to all customers of Promega UK aged 18 or over who are based in Ireland (Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland), England, Wales or Scotland. Employees of Promega UK, as well as members of their families, are excluded from the promotion. 

Promega UK reserves the right to exclude persons or organisations from participating in the Promega Golden Ticket promotion.

Prizes will be delivered to an address in the UK or Ireland, as agreed with the winner and Promega UK Limited.

Payment of the prize value in cash, exchange or transfer of rights to the prize to third parties is excluded.  There is no cash alternative. 

It is the participant's responsibility to provide the correct address to receive the prizes. Promega UK does not guarantee the correctness of the published names of the winners.

Winning goods are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated.

All prizes must be claimed by the end of the promotion and received by 15 December 2025. Prizes will not be sent out after this date.

By taking part in promotions and competitions: the participant agrees that Promega UK will save the necessary data for this purpose for the duration of the competition and beyond. Participants have the right to revoke their consent at any time, (preferences for data retention can be updated in the UK Preference Centre) thus cancelling their participation in the promotion. Promega UK Limited will not disclose any personal data of the participant to third parties, other than that which is necessary, such as the delivery of prizes. Promega UK reserves the right to change the rules of the promotion, discount actions, conditions of participation and prize draws at any time and without giving reasons.

Every effort will be taken to deliver the gifts as shown, however, Promega UK reserves the right to substitute with gifts of equivalent value and quality should the original gift become unavailable.

If, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, force majeure, or any other cause beyond the control of Promega UK which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Promega UK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

The laws of England and Wales will apply to this promotion and the relevant courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to the promotion.

The judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
